Spin it all you like, you are not a market leader so don’t act or spend like one. We can’t tell you how many early stage companies flush with venture money try to market like leaders. These are usually companies whose leadership team has not worked in start-ups before and assumes that the battle and budgets should be waged just as they were in the corporate world. This is a disastrous approach tied to ego, inexperience, reading too many business books or both. The likely outcome is the rapid disappearance of all those VC greenbacks despite your followers and fans, your great press coverage, analyst reports and speaking engagements.

It really doesn’t mean a whole lot, I am actually involved with one of those companies, but guess how a company lands on those lists? They vote themselves into it. What will happen is that the company will find such a list (or the list will find them) and then they will send messages to all of their distributors and tell them to vote for their company. Then voila your company is one of the top 10 MLM companies out there.

It’s likely that O’Leary was rejected for the job because “The X Factor” bosses did not want to have to find a replacement for O’Leary as host of “The X Factor” U.K., since the show is televised during the same months (September to December) as “The X Factor” U.S, and many of the episodes on both shows are live.

Contrast this with the excellent service we received yesterday at a neighborhood restaurant, Red Lobster. Our waiter identified himself with a huge grin, tapped the name tag on his shirt for emphasis, and guided us through the menu with good-natured small talk and laughter.

You guessed it our incompetent Government. Apparently the US Government has been tearing this country down for years without any plan for building it back up. They have only been catering to big business and big money. Doing favors for those contributing to their party fundraisers. Money first people second if at all.

In order to buy a new home wisely, you should carefully inspect the property you wish to purchase. If you notice any problems, make note of them and discuss them with the seller. The more things you can get them to fix prior to the sale, the better. This will add value to the home and save you from costly repairs down the road.
