Did God ever intend such tax burdens to be put on land? When God established Israel to be a modern nation to the world, he gave them laws and statutes to follow that would bless them if they obeyed. In ancient Israel, each family owned their own plot of land. This land could be leased for 6 year periods and renegotiated every 7 years for up to 49 years should a family fall on the worst of times. But the law required that no matter the circumstances, all land must go back to the original family every 50 years. This ensured that no one family ever accumulated vast amounts of land while other families ended up being landless serfs and city-state dependents.
We see the blessings and curses of Deut.28 fulfilled in the lives of the Jews as we read the Old Testament. They were blessed of God under the reign of David and Solomon when they kept the law of the Lord. They were cursed under the reign of the kings who set up idols and abandoned the house of the Lord.
College educations. Finally some insanité d’esprit testament common sense. With college costs as high as they are, some smart parents will be putting Mom and Dads money to good use. (could this be the golden child?).
If you are coming to live permanently in Spain you need to think about transport. Residents of Spain are legally obliged to drive a Spanish registered car with a Spanish driving licence. Although you can import your car from the UK this can be expensive and a RHD car is not the best thing to have on Spanish roads, far better to sell your car in the UK and buy one in Spain. The Spanish licence is just a straight exchange for your UK licence, there is no test to take.
Since Jesus came, everyone who believes in Him, receives the Holy Spirit by whom God’s law is written on the believer’s heart and mind. Who believes in Him, becomes a child of God and calls God her or his very own Father. That’s the beginning of the inheritance received. That’s the promise came true.
There is a familiar song which connected the ‘blessing of Abraham’ with the blessings of Duet.28. It goes something like this, “Abraham’s blessings are mine, Abraham’s blessings are mine, I am blessed in the city, I am blessed in the field, Abraham’s blessings are mine.” Putting the verses to music does not creates reality, but it does serve to give the imagination a stage and props to envision any form of blessing that comes to mind. These inspirations give a false hope, false confidence, and false righteousness.
We assume, without training, any Trustee could make these errors. If possible, get the court case of the Estate of Bowles (2008), Cal.App.4th [No. B203254. Second Dist., Div. Five. Dec. 22, 2008.] for a thorough tour of the facts, and an incredible education.
