Just about everyone who uses a computer these days knows what a cursor is. That little blinking line you see on your screen, if it hasn’t been changed to another one that is available on your system, is a cursor. The tiny image of an arrow, a question mark, or a hand that you see when you move your mouse to certain area of the screen is also considered a cursor. If you sometimes wish there were more colorful and fun cursors for your computer, you’re not alone. But, anyone who has a MySpace account will be happy to learn that there are not just attractive custom cursors available to them for download, but animated cursors as well.

Build links by submitting to other websites. This can help you also gain higher pagerank by the search engines because they know your blogs is followed by the readers. There are several quality directories where you can submit your links and will send you traffic as well. Participate in forums and do not overlook your signature URL to leave. You can submit and post your links also in your profile on your social groups such as Facebook, Myspace and twitter.

The last of the Rittenhouse Square concert series, sponsored by Philadelphia Weekly, is upon us. The concerts on August 12th and August 19th brought out the fans of these “adult” bands, certainly, but there were kids dancing on the lawn, bopping in their strollers, and drumming Daddy’s head while perched on his shoulders, too. Again, you’ll be able to choose from solid colors, patterns, designs and images to make your myspace account profile truly unique.

First, realize that this is a real job. There are boundaries to be maintained… sometimes even more so than in an actual work place. Please do pretend like we are not even here. Leave us to our work. We haven’t got a secretary to field our calls or a receptionist to block unwanted distractions. Respect that we are, indeed, working… even if you don’t understand it.

I have had a site for the last ten years and I’ve never had more than a few thousand visitors in one month. My son, Jake, with his MySpace profile has had over 40,000 unique visitors in one month already. He is trying to teach me how to do this but so far I have not mastered getting more than 3,000. Technology is changing so fast these days. What is hot today will be outdated and on the way out in less than a few months.
