How can you not read this blog if you are a fan of the show? Tom Colicchio is definitely my favorite part of Top Chef and his Season 5 blog offers great insights to what he was thinking and tasting during the challenges. Tom talks about the chefs in a manner that gives us his opinion without getting overly involved in the personalities like the other blogs tend to do. In addition, Chef Colicchio reveals some of himself in the blog and I find that a lot of fun. I have started looking at the show in a different way since I started reading his blog.
One observation of the blogging world is that inspite of each one trying to get a higher page rank and getting maximum traffic there is a camaraderie that comes out so very clearly. Each of the passionate and regular bloggers make it a point every day or every few days to visit other blogs, leave comments, try out recipes and techniques from other blogs and also the blog events. There are events held by some or the other blogs each month on a particular theme with others participating enthusiastically by sending in their entries in the form of innovative recipes and even Great food pictures.

Not all beaches have lifeguards on duty an important factor to consider before jumping food blog into the surf.
Get info or ideas quickly: If you have a good Twitter network, you can ask a question and usually get a few responses quicker than many other methods. I’ve gotten website and service recommendations, ideas for a post I was writing, Restaurant recommendations, people interested in a job, and more.

Having access to a support network clinched the deal for me. Buying a theme means you get regular updates and get to report issues. Everyone needs a support system, and I have patted myself on the back every time I got stuck and someone resolved my issues. Why? Because I made the right decision in choosing the premium theme.
