Making money with blogs is fairly simple if you know what to do with your blog to make it profitable. From layouts to content, there are ways to start making money with blogs. As more and more people turn to well-written blogs for information, making money with blogs will become much easier.
A friend of mine (an author) just chalked up a huge publicity campaign for her book where her motto was “no outlet is too small.” She wrote guest posts, participated in interviews, and sent review copies of her book to anyone and everyone that was interested.
Let’s say you are an insurance agent. You have expertise in life insurance and a specific set of benefits you bring to your Clients. A blog gives you a platform to talk about the latest ideas related to life insurance and life planning. You can give Clients (and potential Clients) tips and checklists. You can give them new ideas. You can relate the latest news to your products and services. The ideas are endless; these are just meant to be a start.
On the other hand, I say this with a sheepish smile, since blogs are free, I set up another blog in Google for my family and friends where I simply post pictures of the family and news about them. This I have no need to be picked up by web search engines, and just pass out the URL to my kids and close friends. Which is another way to use weight training.
Your blogs should have an optimum keyword density that catches the eye of a search engine to get it noticed. Besides, they should have a visual appeal, latest and burning topics. Make your blog interesting and appealing for the visitors so that they can keep coming back to you for more.

Take as much care writing a pitch for a blogger as you do for a national magazine, TV show, or other outlet. Many bloggers don’t respond because they get blase pitches that treat them like the sewer rat of media. Not cool.
